i didn't get a thing for christmas, however, my elky got some silvania silverstar white headlights. also an owners manual, and a 6 disc cd player that broadcasts off the radio, so i can leave my original tape deck in there. and all these gifts were from friends and family. also, this is the first time i've ever had a white christmas. it doesn't ever snow in memphis, but this year we've got ice all over everything. merry christmas to all

My Son and Daughter chipped in on a pair of original GM rocker panel moldings from Honest Charleys. All it took was a hint from me and my NECOA number for the discount. 8) They won't be installed til spring, garage is too darned cold this time of year and besides the Elky is stored for the winter and liability insurance has been suspended til it warms up and the road salt is gone. :-(

I got a set of nail clippers but my Elky got a Nakamichi CD-400 stereo and a gift certificate to get the interior modifications started. My wife is a very wise woman indeed.

My car got a new cruise control switch, turn signal switch, and horn contact to get it all working again. Had to take a lot of the head of the steering column apart to work the cruise connector past the tilt steering mechanism, it just got hung up on stuff when I tried pulling thru with a wire, but it all went back together again.

Merry Christmas to all

Living in western new york almost always brings us a white christmas, not this year unfortunatly. As for presents, I got far to many clothes, but my great little brother bought my a new gauge cluster, I bought a turbo 350 tranny to replace my burnt out 200-c hydromatic (what a joke that tranny was) got a new left front fender and rear quater panels all from honest charleys. Time to get out the plasma cutter!

Hope you all had a good holiday.

My '83 Elky got a tachometer system to replace the virtually worthless clock in the dash. And it took only three separate eBay auctions during the month to get the tach, the internal mounting bracket, and the filter from the dissy.

I jury-rigged it in the engine compartment to make sure it works before I tear the dash apart to install it.

I think my Elky will be pleased; I know I will.
