Hello, I'm kind of new here, and would just like some info on the shows you attend here in Central Florida. I'm desparate for parts or anyone that can point me in the right direction, plus it's kind of depressing being the only Elky owner around here because nobody understands when I say my car is the most badass of all! :oops: Well, it COULD be, once it gets repaired!

Anyways, just send a list my way of Orlando-area shows you are all attending, and any info on some of them. Hope I wouldn't be the only female there!

It's cool your into cars.
There are many sources of new parts for El Camino's.
When you want used you have to be picky and ask for pic's, a lot of people will tell you it's totally sweet when it's not.

Also check the forums under Events and Projects.You'll find the Garage sales and eBay alerts.

I haven't bought any new body parts so I am not going to be much help there.Someone here will have the answer.

Exactly where in Central Florida are you located? If you're in the Orlando area, Old Town in Kissimmee has a Friday night cruise for cars from 1973 thru 1985 I think, and one of the guys (Vinny) who helps out with the cruises has an 80's era El Camino. He might be able to get you started in the right direction as far as parts are concerned. If you're more toward the west coast, there are cruise ins almost every night of the week. If you can pick up a copy of Cruisin' Style Magazine or Mike Kelly's Cruise News, they have a complete listing of all the local cruises in Florida. Hope to see you at one of them in the future. There's also a Super Chevy Show coming up at the end of February at Bradenton Mptorsports Park. I know that yuo'll be able tyo find some of those much needed parts there.

I'm in the orlando area... if you have Vinny's email address, ask his permission to release it to me, please. I'd like to ask if he has what i need.

well.....welcome, ...keep checking this forum for the latest up-dates ...you can pick -up cruisenews at the fri/sat cruises at old town in kissimee, the next gathering of all caminos is in march at the spring show we will have a showplace to park and an elcamino is the poster car....if you can't find your parts there ,,,they don't make it .spring show daytona beach at the speedway march 18, to 20th
