Sarah, I am not sure how I missed you joining us earlier, but let me officially welcome you to the NECOA & El Camino Central! And to Region 6 (Florida).
Normally I like to welcome them as soon as I see a new member in Florida, but I think you posted on some of the other forums first and I missed it  .
Just so you know Peter O'Rourke is our Regional Director. He is in Daytona, and I live in Jacksonville. We are slowly becoming more organized and it does seem right now our largest number of active members in the state is right in your area....at least along the I-4 corridor from Daytona to Tampa.
We had a gathering at Kissimmee (Old Town) in September, in between the hurricanes, and had a nice turnout all things considered. We would have had a very nice turnout if not for all the turmoil of rescheduling and hurricane damage etc. Anyways, if you want to see some pics, and put a few faces to some of the names here, there is a Topic in this Region 6 forum that has some of them: Old Town Pics (http://www.elcaminocentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6207)
and then some met at the Turkey Run in Daytona, but I was unable to make that.
I would like to try again for another - albeit less formal - gathering at Old Town, or somewhere in the vicinity, and just plan for a nice early spring Saturday, and see how many folks we can get to show up...
Again, Sarah welcome, it is great to have you with us, and I hope you get your 83 up and running soon so we can all enjoy it with you at some shows!
