With alot of talk going on about having a large gathering for the 50th b-day of the elky I was thinking that a good place to start would be with something regional. I am already very active in The Chevelle & Elcamino Club of Oregon. Both has the Vice President and a Member of the show commitee. All members here are invited to become members of this club and attend all of our meeting and events. I also will be posting all of our show and cruise plans on this website. My question to all of you in this region is...Do you want to start having monthly meeting and gathering? If so where do you think would be a good spot to get together?

Just wanted to bring this back up to the front for the weekend. Hopefully members in this region will be interested in getting together and meeting each other.

I'm a new member, signed up today. I would love to see an Oregon chapter and would like to participate in events. Unfortunately, my 71' is currently in a thousand pieces in my garage being remade. Regardless, I'm in and don't mind where the rally is held.

Was hoping for a larger turn out than this but hey thats OK. for those of you that would still like to get together and do something The Chevelle and Elcamino Club of Oregon holds a monthly meeting on the last Sunday of the month. We meet at 2pm at the Elmers in Oregon City. Not sure of the address but it is in the Fred Meyer parking lot off of Beaver creek road. We usually have 40 to 60 people in attendance at these meeting. Now is the time that we are starting to plan for our 4th annual show. Please feel free to come and check us out.
I'm near Klamath Falls, fixing a '69 that I got from my sister's daughter's husband. Hopefully , before too long, car will get back together and I 'll get it up there to meet you all.

We are looking at starting a southern chapter of The Chevelle and Elcamino Club of Oregon closer to you. Some of our southern members are thinking of meeting every month in the Roseberg area. With the show season starting soon hopefully these meetings will come together.

I would need to become a member of Your club to go to the events your group is putting together. Why did I become a member here? I guess the National El Camnio Owners Association is just a online thing.

No you would not need to be a member of The Chevelle and Elcamino Club of Oregon to attend the events we attend. I put a small list of some of the many events our club is attending this summer in the summer events forum. Please join us at one of these many events to meet some of our members. You are all also invited to attend one of our club's local meetings. Dont forget our 4th annual show june 19th. We are now exepting preregistrations.
Joining this group on the internet is a wonderful tool to help you out with alot of the many difficultys we all have with our elkys. It is also a great place for elky lovers to get together at anytime no mater where they may live.
sounds like a great idea. I've been spending all available recorces towards fixing the el camino and it seems to go on forever, fixing one thing then finding the thing it is attatched to needs fixing. It sure would be good to go and compare notes . when i can i will. thanks.
