Hi, I'm just South of the IA/IL Quad Cities and just picked up a '76 GMC Sprint SP project car Xmas day off ebay. You can check out my plans for it in my post in the New Members section. Hope to have it home by next weekend and get some pictures. Needs a lot of TLC but with only 632 SP's made in '76 it will be worth it to have something unique at the local cruises.

Thanks, can't be many of us can there ? It was a small group when they were new and I'm sure the years have taken there toll. It would be interesting to know how many Sprints survived.

hey i had a 76 sprint also, a coupel years ago, was a 350 and th350 and factory brown covered in grey primer

i ended up trading it off for another vehicle and it ran around town for a bit then sat parked in a few different spots and now its gone, vanished into thin air

i had it brought here from ohio when i got it


i think ive only seen one other sprint ever in my life
