Im replacing my rear springs (83 El Cam) and bought some polyurethane rear coil spring insulation pads from OPGI (part L201026). They are different from the battered ones that came out, and do not fit on the mount (different diameter and shape).

Anyone know if they are needed, and if they, are where I can get the correct replacement?
Im fitting hotchkis springs.
Thanks!

They are needed, rest assured.Without em you'll have a lot of noise and rattling.I think opgi sells stock replacements.Send back the ones they sent and ask for the correct part.If you don't want to deal with them try The El Camino store,or even your local parts hut or GM dealer.

I have a brand new set of red Energy Suspension rear coil spring isololators that I was going to use on my '85. Do yo want them? I bought 2 sets by accident and I only needed one. Let me know. I will sell them to you for $5 plus shipping. -Matt
