Does any one have suggetions for a set of headers to use for my 1987 305ci that requires the type with air tubes that connect to the top of each exhaust tube. Also a high flow cat and mufflers that will still make it leagl. :D

theres some hooker headers in the original parts group catalouge that should suit your needs.

Catco makes hi flo cat.'s for most applications, check them out. Summit sells'em

Both Edelbrock and Hooker make an emission legal header. I have a set of the Edelbrock ones in the shed that may go on one day or sell.

The Hooker ones haven't been out but three years and are a better design than the Edelbrock. They fit a little better and have better plug acess than the Edel.

There are also two different types available from both companies. The difference is that one is designed for the four bolt cat that the Monte SS used and has a slightly bigger y-pipe. The SS cat flows better.
