OK Gang, I am new here & thought I could find more information on this site compared to the Monte Carlo SS . com site. Anyway I have an 86 Monte SS with a 95 F body LT1 & T56. I have figured out most of the swap except for the AC connection. Since the El Camino is the same body style as a Monte I am hoping those of you with an LT1 with the factory F body setup have figured this out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I haven't done my AC yet but I plan on having the hoses custom made. I'm looking at braided stainless.

Thanks, that is also what I am looking for on my LT1 conversion.

I found a local shop that could custom make the hoses to the right length, given that I had the metal ends for them to work with. And I carefully reshaped the hard line that runs across the radiator and back to the dryer and pressure switch by the heater box. You can see how the hoses fit in the pictures of the installed engine.
