Hi all!

There has been lots of talk about gatherings. Lets do one in our region!

I live about 35 miles south of the Airport near Atlanta not far from I-85.
We have just under 2 acres of ground.
I would be willing to host a meet-and-greet this spring.

We have lots of room so if you wanted to pithc a tent and camp out, that would be fine, or there are hotels not too far away.

Any ideas on a good date to do this??

I will post this for the nearby regions to see if they wish to join us.

I'd like to get involved but I'm not sure of a good date.

I usually go to the spring Charlotte AutoFair and the local shows and cruise in's start in April, I like to make the first local events of the year.

If I'm not traveling a lot at the time you choose I'm interested. Keep me posted.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It would be great to meet some fellowmembers, and drool over some fine caminos. My daughter lives in Sharpsburg, down by Leesburg Plantation(on 54). Since you volunteer your space, pick a date, and see if it can be made to happen. Pops86

Well, I don't know how many of you are drag racing fans, but these are two big dates for the Atlanta Speedway, which is a 2 hour drive from me:

April 29, 30, May 1 NSCA Hot Rod Nationals

MAY 12- 15 Summit Southern Nationals

Just an idea for something to do to make the weekend worth coming up for!

I spoke with the Local speed shop (High Noon Performance) and he is agreeable to doing a mini-show with us and the local car groups at his place which is about 4 miles from my house.

We are looking to do that event on a Saturday afternoon at the end of March or early April. After the event I willhost a Beer and Brats at the house for those wishing to stay on.

There is also another drag sttrip closer by (2 hours away) that we can run at for between $20 and $40 each for the day. I am looking into this as well.

Any other ideas????

it would be nice to cruise all together through the local town 'drag' or at least to the dragstrip....

of course it would be NEATER if my EL Camino could make it....but I doubt my budget will allow that by March

I live just North of Newnan Coweta County in Carroll County, about 30 miles from Newnan. If I remember correctly, Sharpsburg is not that far from Newnan??? Are you planning on this weekend 04-23-05? My 78 Elky is not ready for the road yet :( , still going back through her. I could still make it in my 02 Impala or worse yet the 96 Plymouth Voyager SE Mini Van lol. Just so happens I am off this weekend. I work alternating weekends.

Come on down!!
The site is on the edge of Sharpsburg/Newnan.
DIRECTLY between Newnan on the west, Peachtree City on the East and Sharpsburg on the south.

Whatever gets you here is fine with us!!!

Bring your friends and plan on having a good time eyballing Elkies and other fine street machines and talking to great car people!

All are welcome!
