in my '82 el camino i want to replace my split bench seat with 2 bucket seats and add a center console,i might also get new carpet. but i also want to get 2 10' subs,2 6x9's,and an amp and mount them somewhere behind the seats or in the smugglers box.but i only have enough money to do one at a time, eather the seats and carpet or the subs,speakers, and amp. i wanted to know if there is one that i should do before the other. because i dont know if the new seats and center console will effect where to put the subs and speakers or if i will need to have any audio wires going under the carpet.any suggestions will help.

you can sit on the sub boxes.....u cant go deaf from the seats....seems like a simple answer to me 8) SYSTEM!!!!!!!

i did interior first then my system. DON'T DO THAT. i ended up having to go back and remove, swap, or modify parts and stuff i had payed for, to accommodate for components of the system. if you want a finalized look for system build interior over it, and don't install your system around the interior like I had to. but also try and have a good idea of what will go where in your console to make sure you can build that part of your interior over the system.
