Here in the great State of Texas we are spread far and wide. I'm pretty much in the center Killeen, Copperas Cove right next to Fort Hood. The problem we seem to have getting togeather is the extended drive for most .

I'm in Honey Grove, 45 min NE of McKinney. It's located on Hwy 82 between Bonham & Paris.

Hey Texas Buds, i came up with a little map showing, roughly, everyones location. Now no ones address is exact, because i dont have ya'lls address. but Considering privacy these days and such i figure it's okay this is just a map to get us thinking where we could host our Texas El Camino Show. So that the majority isnt left with a big road trip out to San Angelo, where no one even is! :-P

I know this might sound like I'm just blowing my own horn but I can assure everyone there is no ulterior motive. I live in Canton, Home of First Monday, largest flea market in the world and I have no connection what-so-ever. I don't own or have any affiliation with any local business, simply a resident.

There more motels, pavilions and eating joints here than anyone could possibly consume, all in a very peaceful country setting. Canton is hosting over a million people this weekend alone. Anyone who has ever been here knows what it's all about. Google it!

The city owns a 100 acres and Henry Lewis, the local Chevy Dealer owns most of the adjacent property, also full of pavilions. Henry has 4 auto & 2 motorcycle swap meets a year. Don't have a clue to costs. The powers that be could contact Henry Lewis Chevrolet and the City of Canton for more info. Canton is on I-20, 45 minutes east of LBJ (I-635) in Dallas. Just food for thought. :dontknow:

While I do enjoy driving to shows, I'm supercharged :default:; it costs me $20.00 just to pull out of the garage and into the driveway to wash the car. Anywhere 100 miles outside of the DFW metroplex is about 99 miles too far for me. And if a meet doesn't happen between now and the end of Sept, I won't be around till the New Year:!:
