Greetings all!

A tentative date has been selected. Saturday, April 23rd, 2005.

We will have a Mini-show in conjunction with High-Noon Performance begin 10:00AM until 3:00 PM Saturday. They are located on Highway 154 in Sharpsburg, GA.

The Silver Dollar Drag strip in Reynolds GA has a "1/4 Mile Saturday event, which means that for $25.00 you and your car can run as many times as you wish. $10 for spectators. Kids under 12 free. This event begins at 3:00PM. They are less than 2 hours from the mini-show. They also have an open tune-and-run on Friday nights if you care to come early.

For those not wishing to run their elky's thru the traps, there will be a beer and brats and music at my home that evening from 5:00Pm untill everyone goes to sleep or goes home. I will try and get some of the local guitar and other musicians to come and jam with/for us, so bring your instrument if you play.

Facilities: There will be room for you and yours to camp out at my home, and for motorhomes/trailers if you are so inclined. We have just under 2 acres and can do electrical hookups for ya.

Sorry, but I just entered the Aces SE regionals instead. Not the same weekend but close. April 30-May 1. Had a blast there last year and wouldn't miss it this year! It's a 64-72 event but all are welcome to attend.

The ole '69 and myself are seriously considering riding down from the Charlotte area here in region 5. It will probably be a weather dependent, last minute decision. I will post my intentions as the date gets closer. Also I'll try to push a couple of folks from up this way into attending!

The post said April 23 is the tenitive date. Is it still on? I'd like to come down from Decatur, GA and see the car show.

One more thing, is Sharpsburg Mccullum Rd the same as Hwy 154? I'm trying to get the directions from mapquest.
