Mark your calenders. This years event will take place on June 19th with a special fun day for sister club members on the 18th. Last year we had 214 chevelles and elcaminos attend the show and all generations were represented. The show will be once again held at the clackamas county fairgrounds in Canby Oregon. I will be posting registration and hotel info here as soon as it is all locked in. Hopefully many of you will join us and continue to make this one of the largest gatherings of Chevelles and Elcaminos in the nation.

Dude, put me on the list. I know I'm like 3,000 miles away, but my best friend lives out there in Vancouver. He owns a Ranchero, but he's still cool. LOL
What do you think about my hot rod being feature this week? I know. I can't help bragging! <struttin around da house>

Would love to see you and that elky this year. You would have to be the favorite for the long distance award. Check out our club's website at www.chevelles.net/oregon We have members in a bunch of states other than Oregon and even some in Canada. Hope to see you in a couple of months.

We have a work in progress class. We have even had people bring out the parts and pieces of the cars they are still working to assemble. I have shown my elky in many shows for the past 3 yrs and it has been primer red up intell last august. We have alot of show cars and alot of daily drivers. We hand out over 70 awards so alot of people walk away with something. Check out our website at www.chevelles.net/oregon for alot of picts from our show.

We are currently in the process of starting a southern Oregon chapter of our club so please find me on Sunday and I will put you in contact with members in your area. Our club is also looking at going down to a members house in Bend in September for a cruise. Hopefully you can join us for this event also.

The show is over and man was it fun. The weather cleared up just in time and the day was perfect. Only around 170 chevelles and elcaminos showed up but I think that was becouse of Father's Day and also a bad weather forcast.
We had over 800 spectators threw the gates by 11am so we really improved over last years total. I think that our t.v. comercials on UPN really help out alot on this. The stupid radio station messed up on our comercial and advertised the wrong fairgrounds. We found out 4 days before the show and made them fix it and rerun the adds over the last couple of days.
To anyone that made it with or without a car I want to say thank you very much. Once I have all of the official results and know how much money we rised for the children's hospital I will let everone know. Hope to see many of you at some of the other gatherings this summer.
