After removing the seats I found some sort of production code/option sheet under one. It has all sorts of codes plus the options which brings up two questions I hope someone can answer. :?

1. It has a F41 Sport Suspension: What does that encompass?
2. It has a 3.08 Performance Rear Axle. What is performance about a 3.08 ratio? I can say it's noisey after only 45k miles!

Thanks

I'll have to look under my 84... 3.08 gears? must be a Conquista option but I'm no expert, hopefully some gurus here will help you out. I'm curious to see what mines says.

The "Performance Rear Axle" (RPO G92) was the optional gear ratio for the rear end. The standards were V6 - 2.56, and V8 - 2.41. The G92 options were V6 - 2.73, and V8 - 3.08.

The RPO F41 is the Sport suspension package. It usually included the front jounce bars, different front and rear springs, and a HD front sway bar.
