I just purchase a 69 El Camino , the previous replaced the rear axle to accomidate disc brakes.
Does anybody know what other vehicle that is compatible as far as the disc brake assembly is concerned . the last owner left me trying to figure out what to look for. I would consider replace the whole rear end If i knew what other vehicle would be compatible.
I heard something about a 77 cadillac(hmm).
I really wanna get this baby on the road.
Any help would be very appriciated.

Cadillac rear calipers have an emergency brake lever.

You should be able to find some PN# 's off the calipers....

You may want to check the message boards over at www.chevelles.com. quite a few folks on there have done the rear disk swaps, they should be able to tell you which caliper assembly you have.
