quick question fer ya'll, im wanting to run 295/50/15's on 10 wheels on the back of the '80 El Camino, what should i look fer fer backspacing, i keep hearing like 4-5" i was jus curious what ya'll already know on this size fitting or what exactally, please help me out please, i would greatly appreicate it..

ok, then since no one knows the answer to this possible question then how about whats the most back spacing i can get away with.. the rims i been looking at are avail in 4-1/2" and also 5" back spacing, and of course the are also avail in less then 4" also but whats the most back spacing i can get away with without rubbing.. this is on a '80 El Camino..

[ I have 295/50/15's on my 71 SS and I think the BS is
3 1/2.. I am using Corvette 8" Ralleys on the rear and 7"on the front.
I've seen other custom rims with the same BSing. 8)

From what I've read, anything over 4.5" BS will be pushing it. I'd stick to 4" or less BS...just to stay on the safe side. :cool:
