Ed ke6bnl 01-31-2005, 05:04 PM I am going to replace the frame on my 72 elco with a 71 elco part vehicle I purchased. the 71 has drum front brakes can I just put the disc spindle on to the 71 frame with the a arm that have the drum front brakes.?????Thanks for your help Ed ke6bnl So. Any of the spindles will bolt on. thanks that is what I wanted to hear the a arm on the disc system are suspect because the guy who had it did a number on the frame when he hit a pole and popped the tire and bend the frame and himself. they looked straight as compared to the left side but the new 71 frame looks great.
