feel free to take a look at the box that i had built for my system on my website. It sounds good with a decent amount of bass, but nothing crazy. I have a 300 watt amp and a jl w3 10 inch sub. Didn't cost me much $ either. I know that the opening where the spare goes is 10 inches tall, so that if u get a 10 inch sub or larger u must make a box that "steps up" or gets larger, and extends to the area between your seat and the curtain. Any other questions i would be happy to answer.

2 10's would be perfect for an elky. when you buy the subs, it will contain information on power handeling peak power and rms power. rms is continous so you want to find an amp that will give you the same rms as the subs, but you don't want the amp's peak to be more then the subs. i hope this helps you :D

I have a Kenwood 600 watt amp turned down to power a jensen 10 in sub. It sounds great and its not too much boom boom. I just used a truck box and it is sitting on my tranny hump and it is supported on the sides by two 6x9's perfect sound balance
