Well guys after a month and a half i finally finished working on my elky. What the problem was is that it would die when came to a stop, obvious sounds like a choke problem in the carburetor, nope. It ended up to be in the distributor, vacuum advance. Amazing how it takes 6 weeks just to replace $16 worth of parts lol.

Well, my elky is running again and just though id update everyone.

Hey Chris,

Good for you. Always great to hear there is another Elco up and around out there. I started mine up and ran it for a little while today. Took a day off, hooked up with my buddy and went the town replacing the rear axle bearings and brakes on my GMC.

Keep up the good work and good luck with you Elco.
