:? lot of stereo choices......anyone have the JVC KD-AR360???? Any reviews ......and if so, how is the remote to operate, easy or to small??

Oh and I bought a 10"sub and 2 6 by 9"s 4 way's....OBCON brand........any thoughts on these....... 30.00 for sub and 45 for the 6 / 9's

just need the deck and amp....... looking at a amp, 2 ch 65w for 60.00, cant remember the name, but looks good...

When buying stereo equipment stick to the higher quality brands (or brands people may have heard of). Buying cheap junk isn't much better than the stuff your el camino came with. JVC is ok, but it a bottom of the barrel unit. and OBCON? what the heck is that? Just remeber you do get what you pay for, cheap speakers and headunits are just that...cheap. -matt

the JVC is what is selling around here. Looked at getting a kenwood, however no one had them in stock....

The Obcon speakers are not to much, and I dont plan on turning it up loud....just something upgraded from stock.......

panasonic has been very good for me in the headunit dep. jbl or sony subs and sony infinity or kicker speakers r the way to go

In my opinion JVC is an ok brand but not one you'll be proud of later. In past experiences I have seen many people get rid of it because of poor sound quality and the internal amp is a little under powered. I swear by kenwood for $150.00 you can get a good quality radio and a good warranty. I have installed many stereo systems and have found that the little extra you spend in the beginning is worth it. The obcon speakers will sound awesome just as long as you put them in the propper box, as far as amps go believe it or not Profile has a pretty kick a** product, but it's not the greatest for the long haul, but "for something right now" it good. Ya I saw that Kenwood deck at best buy for 135.00.......was torn between that and the JVC........

so you thinkg the kenwood would be a good deck....the MP228...best buy for 134.00

alpine's are very good too , always had them in my cars , amps jl or fosgates been soild to me
