We have just inherited a 74 Elcamino it was ONCE a beautiful vehicle!!! A lot of money WAS spent to make it muscle car but it has been neglected and ignored for the past 5+ years - it needs a new and loving home!! This would be an ideal PROJECT for the right team! Suggestions on how to find a good home for it are more than welcome or interested parties please write to me!!

Upon a closer look - it DOES need a paint job... the color is blue - it's kind of a pepsi can color but "dull" - it has a 350 engine - with an automatic transmission. Like I said - once it was a beautiful car! a little expert TLC will go a long way on this one! I will work on getting pics taken soon! I promise! Thanks for your interest! Hope to hear from you soon!

Ok - more details!! the El Camino Orphan has 360 V8 engine - 450 turbo transmission, dual exhaust, header with cherry bombs/glas pax attached - 14" air filter and there are chrome parts on the engine (to make it pretty!) IT NEEDS a starter and a battery - replace the fluids and that's it! The electronic ignition is an MSD or MDS...??? Again, any reasonable offer will be considered - this baby needs a GOOD HOME!!
Thanks!

the El Camino was brought to my home via flatbed trailer... I was told it had not been driven in about 4years - but that it probably just needed a battery (ha!) I don't have pics yet - but plan on taking some soon... I am NOT knowledgable about this car - it was given to my son by his dad... just from LOOKING at it - it needs a front grill and the interior needs to be replaced - the seats are in ok shape but the dash and steering wheel are dry and cracked from age (I think they are original) The body looks good - it could use some touch up paint and a good waxing (or just repainted) and a new bed liner installed (it appears to have had one at one time and there is a discoloration from the adhesive - my best guess) there is a hood scoop and the doors are shaved - it has an electronic opener - the tires look ok - but again my best guess is they should NOT be driven on due to age - the chrome/mag wheels still look great! AND the title indicates the mileage to be 60,000 B ("B" means in excess of the odometer limits) - I was told my ex bought this from a friend of the family after the father/son team found a different muscle car project - so there is what I know - sorry it is so limited! My ex is not very forthcoming with communication and details so it is going to take a REAL expert to make the final determination! Any offers will be considered so don't think you will hurt my feelings or insult me - I just want to be fair for both parties (my son and the new owner!) (and get it out of MY yard!! there's a redneck joke lurking here!!) I will consider any reasonable offer - I've been doing some checking and the cost/value is in the neighborhood of $2,500-4,500 - I guess it is going to be a buyer's market! I was hoping I would learn more from the REAL experts through this website - suggestions and hints are more than welcome! Thanks for responding! It gave me a little hope! Thanks again - and I hope to hear from you soon. OH - I am in Arizona. My son is in the Navy (stationed in VA) - he gets out in February and is planning on going to college so this is not a "project" he can get too involved in.
