Well i had some oil leaks on my intake manifold so i took it off and put new gaskets on. when i put my distributor back on i guess i messed up the timing because everytime i try to start it gas sprays out of the carb :-/ does anyone know the firing order for a 327 and how to time it?

do you know how to get number one and on the compression stroke for the number one cyl. then install the dist with the rotor pointed to the number one plug wire etc. My boy watched me do several and he had his first chance to help someone else out and was happy to be able to do it for himself. I don't expain much when we work but he watches and learns fast. the real test is when you go out and do it on your own. Ed ke6bnl
