This is what GM used to "strenghten" the lower control arms in conjunction with the rear sway bar. The factory control arm is in a u-shape and this peice goes insied the "u" to box the arm where the sway bar mounts. -Matt jdque 02-20-2005, 10:02 PM they slip inside the LCA and act as a spacer. bolts pass through the tubes at the ends to keep the LCA from collapsing when the bolts are torqued down.
