An MSD6A and a high output coil is certainly one of the best mods you can make---for performance, better fuel mileage, better driveability and more reliability.

Thumbs up from me, I have one elkie with and one without, the one with is way smoother idle and fuel economy not sure about power though as I really don't/didn't feel any difference there.

The only difference between the 6a & the 6al is a rev limiter, so unless you are planing to bounce off the upper end of your engine it's not really needed. I love the 6a & have one on all my cars.

i def need the rev limiter. this 350 votec likes to rev high and fast. it would be a nice safety feature in case im late on a shift.

Thumbs up! I did it about a month ago. FYI the rev limiter is a chip that slides in the box and it comes with 4 of them, 3000, 6000, 7000, 8000 rpm limits. I use the 6000.
