Make sure they're specific to 5th gen El Camino. First set I got, used, off another G-body didn't fit. I put in Flowtech, which still needed a couple hammer taps to get by the right side suspension arm. I think I've heard good reports on the fit of Hooker. Alchemist 03-05-2005, 10:23 AM I'd recommend full length headers.. Absolutely!! Don't waste your time or $$ on the shorties. If you're serious about wanting the improvements headers will offer, long tubes are the only way to go! If you just want another sticker...shorties are fine. Just my 2¢ ;) Bowtie 04-27-2005, 06:02 AM Hooker Full Lengths fit fine. As a side note, spend the extra money and get ceramic type coating inside and out. This is the treatment that makes more horsepower AND, more importantly, extends the life of your tubes. Painting or wrapping are not comparable substitutes. Take care. | |
