TNelcLADY82 03-29-2005, 08:29 PM Is there an online version of the paper there that I can see the ad? And how far away is Columbia from me? Not sure....
I'm hoping for a 1972, but any 3rd gen will do, i can find my dream truck later. I like the 3rd gens body styles. Might be worth checking out...hmmmm. Thanks for the info!
jdque 03-29-2005, 08:34 PM Not sure about the on-line it The Daily Herald, Columbia is about 40 mi south of Nashville. There was no pic with the ad in the paper. Good luck with your search, Gary

Perry's87Elky 12-28-2008, 08:45 AM Hi. All, I'm Perry. Just got my first El Camino a month ago. It's an 87 and needs a little work but I really like it alot. My Dad had an 60 El Camino that he rebuilt when I was about 10 years old and I've loved them ever since. I live in Dickson, it's about 30 miles west of Nashville. And Amanda I seen 1 or 2 ElCamino's on craigslist in Chattanooga forsale 69 thru 72.

opsuper3 01-27-2009, 09:36 PM Chattanooga (Hixson, Actually) 79 Conquista
themvols 06-21-2009, 09:56 AM Madisonville, TN. Have an '84 Conquista which I am about to drop an Engine Factory small block 350 in. Stock engine is alright, just has 110,000 on it and I want more horses and torque. Also have an MG-TD (1950) restored and an Austin-Healey 3000 Mark III restored, along with a '91 Miata, supercharged '91 Mustang GT, and my driver, an Infinity QX4.
Like British sports cars, had MG while in college, then a Healey. Trying to relive those days' cars. Love the El Camino though. It has style.

theelcaminofactory 09-17-2009, 11:45 PM Geez...they're coming out of the woodwork..aren't they? I didn't think that many people lived in the entire state of Tennessee...let alone own Elkys! opsuper3...nice avatar...I used to hang out there. Welcome to all you fairly new newbs from TN...I used to live in Millington about a 100 years ago.
Dads 85Choo Choo SS 09-18-2009, 02:09 AM We even have schools up here in the hills!! It looks like most of the TN croud is in middle and east TN. Throw out some ideas guys and gals about having a mini meet maybe in October when the weather is great around here and might I add beautiful too. Since we are kind of split between Nashville and Knoxville I suggest we meet in Either Crossville or Cookville. However the Smoky :beer:mtns are a nice place to cruise and hang out in late October. Ideas anyone??

Several of us from Region 6 , Fl. are doing the run from Cocoa Beach , Fl. to Valdosta , Ga. then Montgomery , Al. and on to Nashville , Tenn. before we turn back and head home . The Tour eventually goes on to Detroit . Check out the forum in Region 6 , Fl. on Power Tour that starts in early June .
