hey everyone, im new to caminos and im looking at buying a 77 right now but im curious on how hard it would be to convert it to a manual? and how hard is it to find fenders and a grill?

73-77 should all have the same fenders. Grills will be year and option specific. You can find them on eBay with some frequency.

They did make standard shift 73-77 chevelles and caminos but I have no idea
where you would find a set of pedals.

The pedals for Standard can be located at one or more of the folling,

These should work in your 4th generation also, but do call and check to make sure. I didn't see, as usual, any parts listed for the 73 ~ 77 El Camino for converting to manual shift. While, like I said, I think this will work fine, I can't say for positive.

awesome, so seeing as how i havent bought one yet, is there anything specific i should look for like notorious problems? (i was a ford guy so i dont know much info on chevys) thanks for all your help!

It will give you an idea what to look for.
Otherwise it is same as any car.

o my gosh i just wrote like 1000 words and then the comp deleted my post...to sum it up just guy a car that is in good shape but could use some work..if u like to do work on it.. if not then buy a nice one ull end up saving money
