Ok Elkiers, if we can get 25 Elky's together in North Dallas, the food and drink is on me. I've read many posts, about getting together, well get off the break pedal and let's do it. The weather is great, the creek is low, let's do it!

Free food. You can count me in. I live in Euless and my El Camino is not set up for the highway (4.10 with turbo 400) but I would like to get together with other El Camino owners.

OK, looks like we're going to have some really big plates to eat all of the food. Are there only four elkiers in North Texas. I'll leave the invite open a couple of more days and then set a time for an upcoming weekend. Possibly two weeks from now ...? Let me know what works for y'all. I'm in Richardson.

I'd love to have a get together, especially if there is food involved. Any weekend this month is good, however most of my April weekends are pretty full (depends on the weekend) I'll check back here in a few days to see if there's a date yet. I know there's a lot of DFW Elkies, but I don't think people check the regional forums that much. Honestly, this is the first time I've checked it in about 2 weeks. May need to say something in the main forum. I guess we could vote on dates, and once we pick one, post up in the main forum. Any nominations? I'll throw a couple out: March 26th or April 2nd.

April 2 nd is good for me. One guy's out of town picking up an Elky. I'm sure he would love to show it off. Depending on how many people, I can have it at my place in Richardson. 190/Renner area.

Would love to drive up for this but i will be in Vegas that weekend.

A little more advance notice on a date and i will plan on it...

I already have my tickets for Vegas.

I couldn't do it until the middle of next month. Make it around that time and count me in.

I can't make it on the weekends of April 9/10, or 16/17. April 2/3, 23/24 or 30/May1 are good. May 7/8, 14/15, and 21/22 are out. Anytime after that is good. BTW May 21/22 is Super Chevy in Ennis. OK so thats my whole spring lined out. :lol: If a DFW meet is on any of those available dates, I'll be there! :cool:

OK, I see it's going to be tough corralling a group of Elkies. Those that are interested, let's meet at my place at 2:00 PM on 4/2. We'll give it a trial run for May's bigger get together. There's an Elkiier that is South of Fort Worth that may be up for hosting a get together in May. If not, I have it covered. I'm looking forward to meeting ya'll.

If there is anyone else in the Houston area that is interested we can meet here locally and then drive up together incase of a mechanical problem.

OK Elkiers, we're just over one week away from an Elky get together and I have a request for directions from two. I'm going to have ot order the really, really big plates 'cause we're going to have to do some serious eating for the rest of ya'. Send me an email if you're interested. Please include the word Elcamino in the sibject line so I don't confuse your email with spam. I'm looking forward to 4/2 and already anticipating our May get together. Hopefully those of you who needed more lead time can attend. Another thought for future consideration is to form our own mini power tour. Maybe go to Branson MO. or somewhere in state of LA. I build my cars to drive 'em ... give me an excuse...

I'll plan on a May event.

Also, being a Power Tour Longhauler, I'd be up for a mini-Power Tour event.

I'd go for a mini-tour. Cars are meant to be driven, and mine are no exception. If you don't drive 'em, what's the point??
