i got a 1976 el camino classic and a friend of mine that has a junkyard has a 75 chevelle classic with the single front headlight front end.can i take the front clip of the 75 and bolt it up to my 76.i want to do this because i like the single headlights better then the duals.it looks like it will work but i thought i'd ask here.thanks.

I don't think that will work. The El Camino is from a stations wagon not the Chevelle. The look close to the same but I am pretty sure they don't interchange, not the body parts. I could be mistaken but don't think so.

I'm not sure myself I know that there's a difference of four inches but I think it's in the cab area.
When I put in a floor pan I got one from a Chevelle and I had to cut it and add 4 inches to it. So I'd take some measurements of the two. Or why not just use the headlight housings. They're a direct bolt on to your fenders.
