There is a thread in the general bs forums about how old is classic / antique. If you are from Michigan please go in a read my post. It might save you some cash. The numbers I posted are from my insurance company. I was talking to them yesterday about my renewal premiums.

Yeah, but with those plates, aren't you only allowed to run your car for "events" only and not as a daily driver?

I have a 1968 442 convertible with original 68 plates on it, I was told I can drive it where ever as long as I am on my way to a cruise or to a show or a parade. I had the plate on my car for three years before actually going the the state to get them legal. I had a state trooper pull me over freaked me out but all he asked was if he could look under the hood. That was at the Grand Haven Coast Guard parade in Michigan. The plates were made legal with in 48 hours later. :beer:
