I have a question that i am sure most of you have experience with.. What is the correct way to repair a rear window that is leaking. Mine has 3 small rust bubbles (from the outside anyway LOL} no rust visable from the inside but in a hard rain it leaks. This seems to be a very common problem with Elky's. So i would like to know the best way to eradicate this problem.

thanks

Dynamite! Dynamite is the only acceptable solution to a leaking rear window. I've been trying all day to get mine to stop. I've rebuilt the lower sill over the last few months, including priming, and painting. I started the morning with a clean surface. I laid down the new butyl gasket, carefully pressing it into place while I was wearing rubber gloves. I cleaned the window, and pressed it into place. I backfilled all possible gaps with butyl sealer. I even filled possible gaps on the inside. After letting it cure for several hours I put the hose to it, and it has LEAKS!!!
Like I said DYNAMITE.
