option of 350 in an 85? if not how hard would it be to put a 350 in a 305 car i would imagine not very due to the fact that theyr both sbc but the dist way be in a different spot thanks for replies

It's a direct swap and all of the accessories will bolt right up as long as you go with an 86 and older 350. No, the distributor is in the same place on the 305 and the 350.

thanks much not for me, my friend bought an 85 but didnt know it had cooling system problems at the time (cracked block) so he gets to find a new engine but wants 350 rather than 305
