For a fifth generation elky what is everyones preference?

Billet Grille or stock?

I really like the billet grills, but don't know if I really want to cut-up my SS nose.....

I like the look of the billet grill too. However, the 82-87 GM grill is cheaper and that appeals to me even more. :-D

The billet will be an upcoming change to my '83. Personally, I like the clean grill without the Chevy emblem messing up the visual flow. (Like wow! Aesthetics!) :cool:

I think the chief of the design dept at Chevy nodded asleep in his chair, fell off, and woke up looking at the egg crate design of his overhead flourescent ceiling lights and said "I've got it!" Or maybe he said "Let's see what a pile of ugly sticks would look like if we lined them up in a straight row."
Maybe a bit of over-statement, but I find nothing pleasing about the stock grilles on any of the 5th generation. My vote is with anyone willing to try a reasonable customizing or restyling or swapping. It's all a matter of taste, and what an interesting bunch of people the Elky owners are!!
