My mechanic suggested that i need a rebuild for my carb. I was wondering if there are different types of rebuilds besides stock application. Me being 18 and wanting vroom and who wants stock applications now a days!? Please lemme know about the different typs of rebuilds if any.

There is a Company called "Jet Technologies" that have a "Performance Q-Jet". Personally I'm not sure how much they could improve the Q-Jets. My books they are one of the best on the market for street cars maybe the best. But they are a B!*&h to rebuild. Once that is done have someone tune it while its on your ride with a O2 meter to get it jetted better. If its done well and they tune it to your power plant then you have an awesome performance Carburetor, my opinion anyway. Its capable of pulling 750 CFM, usually all that is really necessary to make them awesome is to have them curved to your power plant.
