If you missed it, they turned it into a "mechanical bull" by loading it with hydro's.

They had to add alot of renforcement to strengthen the frames.

It was in pretty good condition too, i think it looked pretty sweet with the paint job they gave it.

heh, figures they had to strengthen the frame....it was a F*RD!!! :-P unfortunatly i missed that one, i'll have to keep eyes open for a re-run

Yeah just saw it tonight! It was pretty cool- but i wouldnt do that to a camino. no way man. atleast not mine!

I'm actually kind of surprised they DIDN"T use an elcamino.
The ranchero is a Unibody car- whereas all the elcaminos right up to the end in 87 were a full frame car.

Even the lowrider experts on the show commented on how they were afraid the FORD might break in half, that is why they had to do the reinforcment stuff.

I see a lot of lowrider/hydraulics guys around here, and they are all driving GM cars... Cutlasses, Malibus, Elcaminos, Etc etc etc. Not any fords or chryslers... Pretty much because they are not strong enough to take the bouncing and stuff.

Kinda cool, but still kinda sad to see them hack up decent classic cars- Even a ford. I watched the one where they hacked up a REALLY NICE old Bronco- Then wrecked it in the end anyway.

Too bad....
