The big clear piece of plastic that covers all the guages is kind of scratched up, is there any product that can polish them out?
Also, what is the best way to clean the plastic pieces for the taillights etc. They are looking a little yellowish and dirty.

Easiest fix for that piece is to buy some high quality plexi and replace it.

http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/I-Agree.gif Blitz used to have a polish for the clear plastic parts that were MILDLY scratched that worked ok.
So far as cleaning the lens and such, i've soaked the pieces in a diluted dish washing liquid and cleaned'm with a brush to remove the dirt and dust...but once they start to discolor (yellow)...no amount of polishing or cleaning is gonna reverse the oxidation. Gotta replace those pieces.

I had good luck with Mothers Plastic Polish. 8) If the scratches are real deep nothing will help. I've seen some lenses on Ebay but its hard to determine the quality.

Go to your local hobby shop that cater to the plastic car model crowd, they have kits to hand rub plastic, mine cost $11.00, comes with sandin squares down to 4000 grit, worked awesome with alot of patience and elbow grease. Oh and of course you must disasemble the dash and instument panel to do it. but it dont remove the yellow - just buy a new one. cha-ching and your done. 8)
