Most of you know what we've been going through on my car (LOTS of work), and now I finally have pics. Here are pictures of my 1969 SS 396 when it first arrived:

I don't have any pictures of it as it is now, but I'll try to get those soon. It makes me cringe to look at these pics...man it needed (and still does) a lot of work!

Heh... Just curious so i gotta ask, but was that a duct tape "smiley face" on the tonneau cover? Might just be an optical illusion... :)

LOL. Nah, that was the bottom part of the "SS" that was stiched onto the bed cover and the bottom was the...well I don't know what that was. Haha.

The car is very original - #'s matching engine and transmission, original seats, dash, rims, etc. I need to see if it's stopped raining here so I can see if I sealed up the rear window so I can put my new carpet in and run all of my wires for my stereo system. :)

Looks like a good setup to start with. It'll be nice when you get some current pictures up.

Thank goodness!!! The cab has been sealed! I should be able to get pictures this weekend of how my car looks now. All I need now is some POR-15 for the floor boards and I'm good-to-go on my stereo. :-D

WOW! 8O Been busy haven't we. :-D Looks great. One question though, in the first picture is that a reflection of something or is it a ghost red stripe?

It's kind of a ghost/candy red stripe (two actually, per side) in a Z pattern. They're getting removed when we re-paint the car...AKA: we're not re-painting them back on, that's for sure.
