Last night i took my new 84 conquista to wal mart for new filters fluids and a tire. My problem is when they were done the exhaust pipe seemed to sit lower :evil: The reason i was getting all this stuff done was to get it to pass inspection and low and behold this morning i got a call saying that the exhaust pipe is too low to the ground. :evil: What my question is is there any way i could tie it to the frame with wire or another quick fix till i can find a permanent solution? I live in West Virginia and the rule is stock or the equivalent so it can't hang. any help is appreciated i would like to be able to drive it by monday.

As a tempory fix, you can use the old coat hanger trick to get you going. :cool:

There is a hanger on the cross member that could have broken loose. You probably have two more hangers, one on either side of the frame in the rear where the Muffler is (Stock exhaust) and they have rubber pieces there too. So there are three points to check. If they are loose yes use a coat hanger or take it to a muffler shop.
