 Dammmm I took the elky in today and changed the trans fluid, filter, gasket and spark plugs........to make it easyier for the plugs, I took off the tires.....when I put on tire hub caps, one of the plastic clips broke, so now i only have the three on it.....

Any one know if it can be fixed or do I have to buy another.....if anyone has one for sale or where I can get another.......

Oh it is the stock wheels, and it has that small hub cap that covers the wheel nuts........I seen some with the red decal in the center then the gold emblem....mine has like a black decal with a silver wreath.......
It is a 87 Rally Wheel Hubcap

It is hateful, but there is a way to "jury rig" a fix until you can find a reasonable replacement. Drill a small hole in the appropriate place where the tab broke off. Insert an 8 x 10 x 1.5 inch machine screw. Screw one nut all the way down to the plastic to hold the screw in a verticle position. Then, put a second nut at the correct place on the screw (corresponding position to the tab that holds the cap onto the wheel. Run a second nut down on top of the first and tighten them together so they will not move. If they are at the right place on the screw, they will snap into place on the metal holder on the rim.

A better solution is to buy one from Hubcap Annie for $24.00 plus tax and remove the emblem from the broken one and use epoxy glue to cement it to the new cap.

If you go the eBay route, make sure all the tabs are in place. I suspect it will be difficult to find one with a matching decal. All I ever see on eBay are the ones with the red Chevy bowtie emblem.

If you like to drive with original wheels, be prepared to spend $$ on replacements. Really, some things were never meant to be made of plastic. These caps are one of those things!!
