So I decided to try an electric water pump, and I bought the brightest, shiniest, most blingin' one out there. The big ass Morosso electric water pump. Let me tell you the troubles...

1) If you have an 8" balancer...make sure to get the pump with the offset for this application. There is one for the 8" and one for engines with smaller balancers.

2) If you have the saginaw style press fit water pump...nobody makes brackets.

3) I returned it and bought a aluminum mechanical pump with all the stock mounting points for alternator and p/s brackets...much easier!
