Hi all!
Due to the rain and lightning and hail the night before, and the 50 degree temps with howling winds, the turnout wass much lower than expected.

Those hardy souls that did brave the elements had a good time, I think. I know that I did!! One of our very own won the big raffle prize, a chrome plated small block Chevy oil pan.

I learned a few things about events, like putting times on the fliers and ordering better weather.
Apparently JUST after we all left (~3:45-4:00) another FIVE Elkies made thier appearance, according to Clay at HighNoon. Sorry we missed you guys!! Those 5 plus the 4 there made a total of 9 Elkies in attendance, with my two there in spirit only since my windshields did not arrive in time.

Thanks all for coming out!! Thanks again Bill (1986ss) and Gary (jdque), for coming down from Tenessee and bringing your friends.

Myself(with a 1978 Elky) and a friend(with a 1979 Elky) were 2 of those late car show goers...We both work at the same place and we could not get off of work early enough to make it on time.Hopefully we can make it to the next function.Glad you guys had a goodtime. :)
