The second question about what was the first year of production Choo Choo Customs?? The book I have states "1984 was the first year for SS package from Choo Choo Customs available via special order through dealers". I chose "1985" , which I guess was wrong??? I'm a third gen owner, so I would go with what ever you guys say. But the forth question about "what was the first year for a Super Sport option on the El Camino". I have read that in 1966 there was a "SS-396" option offered, which was very popular for El Camino's that year. Now, I'm really splitting hairs here, but the 1968 SS model was just that, a stand alone "model", not an "option". The SS model was indentified via the VIN. After that year, the Super Sport was a true "option" that was added to the Custom model. I selected "1966" and that was a wrong answer???? O.K. so it is apparent that I missed two out of four questions. And yes, there is always someone who complains (I guess that's me). I'm not really pissing and moaning (much). I did enjoy taking the quiz, it makes you really think about a subject I really like. And I always like talking about Elky's, right or wrong. So, if I'm wrong and off base, then I've learned something.. I do like the idea of the quiz and think more should take a swing at it. | ||
