I have a loud noise from my left front shock or spring or tie rod end.
It happens only when I make a sharp turn, I have after market rims and tires and the shocks are older edelbrocks. What shoul I do to find the cause of this clanking sound, I have done mutiple visual inspection but could not find any broken parts or cracks. The shocks are stiff and seem
like they are ok, they dont bounce up and down when I push down hard on each corner. I also have air supension in the back and I like to keep it high, and that forces the front down some can this efect the front supension?

Check your "A" arm bushings. Sounds like upper rear is gone.

(just a thought)

A similar thread not long ago turned out to be a sway bar link. Look those over good.

I took another look after reading your reponces, the bushings looked worn out and previous owner has aplied a thick grease to them, sounds like I need the whole front end poly bushing kit-thats going to be a lot of work-but more than worth it to feel that smooth quite ride-poly bushings are better than oem too+. I looked at the sway bar link, but Im not shure what im looking for, I pull on it by hand and cant feel any play?

Usually it's the rubber bushings that go bad on the link's. Two sandwich the end of the bar and two at the control arm.
