I just picked up a Grant Challenger Steering Wheel, Model 414, like the one above also.Paid $31.50 with shipping. Its off of an S-10 pick-up,& all the bolts & the hub are included. Will the S-10 hub work on my 84 Elky? Anyway, its used,& at that price,if I decide to try something else I can. Thanks 4 the info guys. I think I'll try a search for that GM wheel you mentioned to see how it looks...

I don't see why it wouldn't fit, as long as you get the proper hub adapter...

Here is a pic of the Grant wheel I recently installed. Fitted nicely with the adapter and I had a selection of horn buttons to choose from. About A$150 from a local ebay trader.

The El Camino drives so much better now Laugh

I got this one with a hub,but I think maybe a piece is missing.Isnt there sposed to be a ring that has a wire on it to enable use of the horn,or am I mistaken? I also need to pick up a horn button.

when you get the steering wheels new, they come with the horn stuff. then you buy the hub adapter separate. when you buy off of ebay, you don't usually get enough of anything to make a complete unit. stuff usually ends up on ebay because someone didn't have everything, lost something, or used part of what they got to fix something else. you can get the horn stuff separate from grant, if it is a grant wheel. cal custom wheels also work with grant stuff.

i think $150 is a bit high for even ebay. what do they go for new in aussie?

I got mine for A$150, which is pretty good considering the mark-ups we have to swallow here in OZ and the exchange rate too.
