HEY GARRY ---- that's fabulous - getting invited to the that show at Mohegan Sun.
I am going to play it safe tomorrow too - Ernie scared the hell out of me with that hail story - adn the weath guy sounded pretty sure that we wre expecting severe storms.
hey Mark - forget it - nobody beats Mike's hat
Good Luck to those of you who do go to RICOA - we are expecting a report tomorrow night _________________ Tom

2nd: Rich H. with the 68 SS 396
3rd: Carol and Ed with the gold '67
Elky Modified:
1st: Mark S. With the metallic Aztec gold 72 (Premonition I)
2nd: Mike N. and Ruby Rat
3rd: Mike ___ with the 5th Gen '86 454
All 6 of these cars are featured in the show album.
Great show. No thunderstorms as we all feared. Also, it was HOT, but not AS HOT as the last 3 years running. Just over 300 cars in all. And again, almost too many Corvairs to count. Caminos were about as plentiful as the Chevelles, I'm told. That's NEVER Happened. Great Showing Club!!
Thanks all for a great show and turnout!
EDITS: Mark doesn't want his car referred to as brown, so it's now metallic "Aztec gold" which is more accurate. (but look for the brown 3rd Gen Elky in the picture album ( Hee Heee!!!)
Also, I spoke with Mitch on Wed Night who said there were just over 200 cars, not 300+. _________________ 70 Elky (Non-SS) 454CID, TH700-R4

Mike -- thanx for the pics (and the running commentary)
Looks like every one had a great time - and I am glad the weather cooperated for all of you who attended. Looks like some of us (Ernie and me and -- I wonder how many other wusses) missed a great gathering.
All of you and your rides look fabulous - although I can't wait to see each of you --- I sure would have loved to see all of you nad all those great el Caminos together.
Although I can't agree with all the captions used on these show pics, especially things like 'Caramel' which is just plain 'soft', I can say it was a great show with a decent turnout.
For those that haven't seen Rich H's '68 S/S, trust me, it's worth seeing. Just a stunning resto. Hell of a job Rich.
Those that didn't make it were missed, and were asked about.
Let's see if we can all make Lasalette in August, even you Tommy, don't see why you couldn't slip away from the wedding in your Tux for a few hours and join us, then run back in time for the reception.
Mike, thanks for posting up the pics, really nice, and keeping Sunday a fun and 'lively' day.
Note: I decided to edit this post and give Mike a break since he did such a good job with the pics. Besides, don't ever want to chance being misunderstood and taken seriously, that wouldn't be cool. Later...
