I'm looking at putting in a Dakota Digital gauge kit in my 5th Gen. I've heard about another brand (Nordsburg? or something like that). Has anybody heard of this other brand, and anyone have any opinions either way? My Elky's going to be a show car, so I do like the fact that the Dakota kit has a demo mode for shows.

I put a Dakota Digital dash in my 59. Had no problems with it so far. Very happy with it in fact.

I've been running Dakota Digital in my 84 for about a year and it works flawless. I wish they would take the speed bar off the top and just put the odometer there, leave the trip and other functions at the bottom. The bar is useless since you have the big digital display of speed in the middle - left and it only goes to 80 mph so it is all the way across anytime you are on the interstate..
That is being picky and actually I guess a personal thing.
I looked at both and researched them and found quite a few complaints on the Norsdokg about tach signal interference causing jumping of the readings.
I obviously went for the few extra bucks to make sure I avoided that problem but can't speak from personal experience.

That was it...Nordskog. Thanks...yeah, it looks like I'm going to get the Dakota gauges.

Stay away from Nordskog, nothing but trouble. I can't even use the tach because of interference with the speedo readings.
