While the TH700 is stronger and has a better low gear ratio, the 1-2 shift brings with it a fairly large RPM drop going into 2nd (3.06 to 1.8 something if memory serves). With a TH700, the GN's V6 turbo boost would probably fall flat going into 2nd with this tranny. With the TH200's shorter jump there's much less of an RPM drop going into 2nd, maintaining boost pressure when it's needed most. _________________ 70 Elky (Non-SS) 454CID, TH700-R4
