So this is a really stupid question but i just rebuilt the engine in my 69 el camino and now that it is back in I cant remember how the heater hoses were routed. I know one goes to the manifold and one to the water pump but which one connects to which heater core nipple on the firewall. One of the heater core nipples is 3/4" ID and the other is 5/8" ID.

Im thinking that the 3/4" one goes to the manifold and that the 5/8" to the water pump. Please correct me if I am wrong because i do not want to hook them up backwards.

Thanks,
Kevin

The fittings on the engine are also 3/4 and 5/8. 3/4 at the pump - 5/8 at the manifold.
