I'm at the beginning of a long term project, getting my 1986 El Camino restored and race ready.
The following is a list of some of the big ticket items I will need to get the ball rolling:
- (2) complete RUST FREE doors; either empty shells, or complete with power windows and locks
- 9" Ford 'drop-in' rearend housing, or complete rearend (a proper 12-bolt would work as well)
- Aftermarket upper and lower control arms
- Fiberglass bumpers, both front and rear
- Hinged fiberglass cowl induction hood
- Manual power steering box
- 2" dropped spindles
- Aftermarket transmission crossmember
If you are looking to sell any of the aforementioned items, please get back to me with all of the pertinant information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Condition
- Price
- Your location
I can be reached by PM, or privately by sending an e-mail to:

If you are still looking for doors let me know. Course I'm in TX and the doors have to be truck shipped. I have done it before but really don't like doing it.
I built a crate and shipped them that way. I hate truck shipping though... It's a really screwey system.
Also I can set the doors up with pretty much any of the power window regulators that GM offered. There were 3 types two of them had counter balance springs and are a little faster. The sprung ones are harder to find though I do have them for now. Can put new rollers etc on the regulators as well as new motors. _________________ Robert Adams
