I have been using the Monroe Air-Max shocks and they are doing a good job. As I recall the max load of the '85 would be around 1200 lbs. Most auto parts stores carry the Monroe Air-Max shocks or can get them in a short time. About $70.00 for a pair with air lines. An alternative would be Gabriel Hijacker Air Shocks. The price seems to vary a lot depending on the supplier, about the same as Monroe though.

A better set up is stock shocks with Air-Lift 1000 bags inside the springs. IMO _________________ Mama Mayhem's Gallery

I'll seccond the air bags. They are right where the load needs to be carried where as the shocks were an afterthought and the lower mounts do bend over time with air shocks. _________________ Robert Adams
